Nicholus Magongwa is an experienced health professional in the South African healthcare industry. He has been involved in several healthcare sectors, ranging from academia, wholesale, courier pharmacy, retail, hospital pharmacy and medical aid. Mr Magongwa has a rich experience in working in complex environments, including working as one of the youngest Clinical Pharmacists during the COVID-19 pandemic, servicing intensive care units, medical, and high care to champion effective medicine rationale use, antimicrobial stewardship, and cost-effective interventions. He also has experience in
client management and retention and medicine delivery.
Nicholus has published more than five (5) review articles in reputable journals. His current role in the medical aid industry involves pharmacy network management, driving medicine formulary compliance, prevention of Fraud, Waste and Abuse, primary healthcare, communication, and strategic planning amongst many. Mr Magongwa is a solution-driven professional, passionate about ethical leadership, youth mentorship, and entrepreneurship.
